How to get here:

The best way to get here is to fly to Geneva Airport (GVA) and then take the train to Aigle.  The train station is right next to the airport, you do not even have to leave the airport building.  In Aigle you need to change trains to take the scenic cog train up the mountain to Leysin-Feydey.  Alltogether, the train ride from Geneva airport to Leysin-Feydey is about 2 hours.  From Leysin-Feydey, it is just a ten minute walk to the Hotel Central Residence. 

If you will drive from Geneva airport, take the highway towards Lausanne, then towards Simplon.  Once you pass by Villeneuve after the lake of Geneva, take exit 17 towards Aigle, and then the road to Leysin is signposted.  Drive up the scenic mountain road to Leysin.

If you want to rent a car for more than just a couple of days, you may want to fly into Lyon (LYS), France, and then drive to Leysin with a rental car.  Car rental prices at the Lyon airport are substantially cheaper than in Switzerland, and the drive to Leysin is about 3 hours.  It can be worth it if you stay a week. Also, sometimes the flight into Lyon airport is cheaper.
